Very nice for the cost!!!! We recently moved to a larger house, & I needed a few pieces to put in my office loft. We have 2 small kids, and didn't want to drop several thousand dollars on a desk, hutch, filing type furniture so I decided I liked this line the best. I have been quite pleased with all of it. This piece has the clean lines, and I liked the size. Was especially happy that the tension in the top spring/lever that lowers the lid actually has to have a little push to get it to start closing instead of it dropping. With small kids, that might have created a problem.The loft is a 25X15 room, so I have my office on one side & couches/chairs/bean bags on the other around the TV for everyone to hang out. Working from home, this is the perfect set-up for being able to work & have the kids upstairs with me. I actually ordered the desk/hutch/lateral file as well from this line. I bought the desk/hutch first, then ordered the rest. t looks nice, came unscratched (as did all my Sauder pieces, 4 in total) lined up, and seems quite sturdy. I am happy with all of these purchases. I know a few people had problems with scratches, stuff not lining up, etc...but all of ours came just fine. The desk had a scratch but it was interior. The lateral file did have a scratch on the cover, but once Amazon was contacted, we got that one piece replaced. So very happy overall with these.And, just for the record, I am not paid or have any interest in posting a positive review other than I am trying to write what I truly like/feel about the product, just like I would like read on the other Amazon products I buy! BTW, for the people who actually might be paid to do that, shame on you! No one should purchase a product based off a review you were paid to write, not fair to other consumers!
